Moi Market!

Frantsila Herb Farm opens its first retail location in Helsinki, located at Pohjoisesplanadi 19, in partnership with R/H Studio and Papu. Anchoring one end of historic Tori Quarters, the Empire-era cultural and commercial heart of Helsinki, Market will offer an exclusive selection of Frantsila’s latest natural skincare, scent and wellness products, as well as host an ongoing series of events and educational workshops, with an inaugural grand opening in early July.

Jupiter Cormier, CEO of Frantsila, describes the company’s decision to open its own retail space, after more than 35 years in business: “Over the last few years, our company has been going through a generational change in leadership, including the creation of entirely new product lines, as well as a more general re-positioning of the brand, which we are just starting to bring to market.” Cormier continues: “Given this natural evolution, it seemed like the perfect moment to re-introduce the brand through our own retail space, both to a new generation of Finnish customers and to a new set of foreign visitors who may not know about us. A centrally located retail space provides the perfect channel, not just to share our new products but to share the knowledge behind those products.”

Frantsila is a pioneer in organic herb farming in Finland, and has been a natural health product manufacturer since 1981, when Virpi Raipala-Cormier and Jim Cormier established an herbal centre on the family farm. Long, sunny summer days and cool nights give our herbs superior aromatic and medicinal properties, which we then handcraft into herb mixtures, extracts, organic teas and various skincare products, using gentle, time-consuming techniques that lock-in their naturally occurring sweet fragrances, subtle colours and bio-active ingredients.

Market will be open seven days a week during the summer months and most major holidays, and six days a week for the rest of the year.
